How to clean and care for your shoes
A little care goes a long way with a handmade shoe. Here is what to do for this model.
Dry cloth or soft brush only, without rubbing or wetting: glitter comes off. Keep it in its bag to protect your other shoes.
- Keep the shoes in their fabric bag, away from damp and direct light; never in a closed box while still damp.
- Check the heel protectors: once the heel touches the floor they need replacing, before the heel itself gets damaged.
- If you dance often, alternate two pairs: the shoe dries out and the sole lasts longer.
