The laced shoes of the Wish Dance line are fully leather-lined inside and feature orthopedic comfort cushions at the arch and heel of the shoe, to make contact with the ground as comfortable as possible.

Care and storage

How to clean and care for your shoes

A little care goes a long way with a handmade shoe. Here is what to do for this model.

Leather upper

Wipe with a soft dry or barely damp cloth. A neutral leather cream now and then keeps it supple. Always dry naturally, never near a radiator.

Leather sole

Wipe with a dry cloth. Do not wet it and do not wear it on asphalt or gravel: leather wears out fast outdoors.

Rubber sole

Damp cloth for dirt. It can go outside, but check for grit and residue before stepping onto the dance floor.

Storage
  • Keep the shoes in their fabric bag, away from damp and direct light; never in a closed box while still damp.
  • Check the heel protectors: once the heel touches the floor they need replacing, before the heel itself gets damaged.
  • If you dance often, alternate two pairs: the shoe dries out and the sole lasts longer.
